About Us

Metro Atlanta draws most of its water from the Chattahoochee River and Lake Lanier, and other Georgia cities use rivers and reservoirs too. Surface water means disinfectant, so chlorine taste is a common complaint. In northwest Georgia, PFAS tied to the carpet industry around Dalton has affected water systems along the Conasauga and Oostanaula rivers. South Georgia homes often draw from the Floridan aquifer, which can be hard. Clear Drop Filtration plans whole house water filtration in Wildwood, GA with carbon for taste and disinfectant, PFAS-rated media when tests show it, and sediment pre-filters for red clay silt.
